Home based role based in South West. Our client is an established Brand. They are now looking for a Wholesale Territory Manager with a background in FMCG and Retail to include independents, you will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You’ll have excellent communication and relationship building skills with internal and external parties alike.  You will have the ability to build and create new business with an emphasis on brand building. You’ll be computer literate and super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. An enjoyment of, and willingness to travel is a must.  The Territory area covers Wales and the South West Region and you must live in Territory.

Wholesale Territory Manager - Mid/South West Region - The Role:

  Prospect and develop new business opportunities with key retailers within your territory and turn this into increased business.
  Develop, maintain and grow long term relationships with high potential customers and existing accounts with a focus on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  Attend trade shows, run “pop-up” show rooms, customer events and visiting customers in their retail environment.
  Plan and deliver on all commercial targets/KPS’s (e.g. Sales, Margin, Costs, Market Share, New Business)
  Negotiate, plan and deliver the successful execution of the sales, marketing, trade marketing, promotional and educational plan with each trade customer within a defined portfolio. 
  Feedback customer comments to the design department contributing to further improvement of the product and offering. 
  Contribute ideas for the marketing team such as POS, incentives and improvements to our marketing literature to help support our retail community develop and promote their business further. 
  Ensure that the pre-season sales target for your territory is reached by great planning before the high sales intensity periods of the year.
  Identify key accounts with growth potential within your territory and work with marketing to organise events, bespoke POS and VM/product training.
  Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators to increase sales with existing clients and recruit new business.
  Prepare reports, presentations, management information, reporting and correspondence on a regular basis. 


Wholesale Territory Manager - Mid/South West Region - The Candidate:

  You’ll be highly organised, self-motivated, and extremely well presented, tenacious and results orientated and skilled in trade negotiations.
  You will be highly commercial and have a breadth of basic commercial, financial, brand, trade marketing, visual merchandising & operations understanding across all trade channels and methods of distribution. 
  You’ll have proven management experience, specifically in negotiating with senior stakeholders within key accounts and working closely with buyers and trading teams. 
  You’ll have a proven track record working in retail, wholesale & digital commerce sectors, ideally gained with an organic brand and preferably with experience working with an apparel brand.
  You’ll be experienced in creating reports, managing, and interpreting data and providing analysis and commentary to draw out key issues, trends and solutions. 
  You’ll be an excellent communicator in the spoken and written word, with accuracy and great attention to detail. 
  You will be super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  You’ll have solid IT skills, with good working knowledge of MS Office programs and the ability to learn in-house systems quickly.
  You’ll ideally be a resident within or on the edge of the designated territory with easy access to transport links enabling fast, easy and cost-effective access around the territory.
  As you will be on the road, you’ll need a full clean driving license.
