Our client is a fabulous Brand of Womenswear and childrenswear. They have an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to assist with the sales and trading side of our business. You must be up for a challenge, and enjoy a fast paced, exciting, environment.
Trading Assistant - The Role:
As a Trading Assistant, it is your responsibility to assist with the coordination between the UK based team and retail brand partners to ensure the brand is operating in the most efficient and optimal way.
Assist with the regular sales reports.
Analysing transaction level data to provide the business with insight into customer behaviour.
Reviewing sales performance at both a store and product level to identify trends within the business.
Liaising with brand partners to ensure all operations are running smoothly in the retail stores and e-commerce platforms.
Helping with the management of product launches, stock flow, replenishment strategy and markdowns around all areas of the business.
Trading Assistant - The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will either have experience working in a similar role or have a degree in a numerical, business, or related discipline.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills.
Managing and hitting deadlines.
Be a great team player, able to integrate and contribute to this close team.
Professionalism
Problem Solving
Knowledge of databases, SQL and VBA would be advantageous but not essential
Due to our beautiful but rural location, you must be able to drive and own a car
