You should also fully understand the job role and description, this will help you tailor your answers to the qualities and experience that they are looking for, helping to ensure that you are ticking their boxes. Furthermore, always make sure you mention exactly what you want them to know, from specific experience to courses, an interview is a time to show yourself off.
Although this might sound obvious, prepare answers for all of the questions they are likely to ask, such as why you want the role, why you would be a great fit, and your experience. Always try and link these questions back to scenarios you’ve experienced in the past. Another good idea would be to prepare a few questions to ask them, you will normally be asked if you have any questions towards the end of the interview.
