Job Description

Our client is a design and manufacturer of Fashion and Branded hard good accessories with a portfolio of private label customers and their own branded division.  They are looking for an experienced Accessories Designer to join their business..  This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and well-established community centric business.  

Accessories Designer - The Role:

  • Interpret trends and translate them to the customer profile in a commercial way
  • Creating detailed CADs and technical specifications for Far East and UK factories
  • Liaising with customers and overseas factories daily
  • Photographing and recording of samples
  • Coordinating and preparing samples to be sent out to customers
  • Preparing trend presentation boards and seasonal research
  • Managing own workload and prioritising projects as required
  • Fabric and trim sourcing
  • Respond promptly to customer enquiries
  • Communicate and coordinate with relevant internal departments
  • Dealing with factories with quick response decision making
  • Be able to produce high quality work to targets and tight deadlines
  • Other administrative tasks required by the Designers

Accessories Designer - The Candidate:

  • Qualification and experience within Accessories and/or footwear design
  • Good technical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong CAD skills
  • Exceptional organisation skills with a great eye for detail.
  • Possess a true passion for fashion.
  • The originality and efficiency to thrive within a close-knit team of creative thinkers.
  • Self-starter with a pro-active approach to work and the ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem solving and adaptability
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Trend aware with a strong eye for design.
  • Right to work in UK essential.
  • Driving license essential due to location

Accessories Designer - The Package:
