Job Description
Our client is a small but growing fashion brand with a passion for creating stylish womenswear and girlswear, that blends quality and creativity. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a talented and motivated Designer, with 3 to 5 years’ experience, to join their close-knit team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a brand.
Designer – The Role:
- Develop seasonal collections (across soft woven and jersey products) for women and girls, including concept boards and CAD drawings
- Conduct market and trend research to inspire innovative and on-brand designs.
- Collaboration with the teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Select fabrics, trims, and colours in line with design direction and cost requirements.
- Attend fit meetings and make design adjustments as needed.
- Ensure timely delivery of design packs and tech sheets to support the production calendar.
Designer - The Candidate:
- 3-5 years industry experience in womenswear and/or childrenswear design.
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Strong sketching and CAD skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent understanding of garment construction and textile knowledge.
- Previous experience of designing for Next would be an advantage
- Confident and friendly approach in presenting to customers.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work proactively

- Positive can-do approach
