Job Description
Our client are market leaders in the design and supply of Hosiery, Underwear & Loungewear to global retailers and brands. They have a passion for great product design and a reputation for taking trends, along with the latest technologies and developing product portfolios to match a brand or retailer’s core customer base. They now have an opportunity for a Junior Creative Artworker to assist with design/artwork of product packaging, branding, presentations & company marketing collateral.
Junior Creative Artworker - The Role:
- Interpreting briefs and providing packaging design from creative to final print ready artwork.
- Re-touching of product photography, editing graphics for websites and social media channels.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and elevate the design further by using elements based on appropriate project requirements.
- Work with external suppliers and overseas printers to ensure that all artwork is printed and produced to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging design techniques.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for packaging campaigns.
Junior Creative Artworker - The Candidate:
- Some experience in print, graphics or packaging design with the ability to transfer existing visuals into a print ready format.
- Must have strong CAD skills in particular Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to be able to liaise internally as well as with the factories.
- Happy to work in house full time.
