Job Description
Our client has two womenswear brands. One of understated luxury, taking influence from fashion and the wider art world and crafting clothes in beautiful natural fabrics. The other offers unique designs with a modern bohemian, cool-girl vibe. The main markets for both brands are the US, UK and Germany. They are building expertise as a multi-channel retailer with flagship brick-and-mortar stores to support digital and print marketing.
With a design studio based in South London, and a Distribution Centre in the Midlands, they employ 150 people with a turnover in excess of £50m, growing and profitable. Privately owned, the business is run for the long term with a commitment to delivering the best possible products and service to win customer loyalty.
They have a genuine and long-established commitment to understanding the environmental impact as well as the ethical responsibility that comes with running their business. The range is made using 99.6% natural fibres and they are a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, an independent multi-stakeholder organisation that works with garment brands, garment workers and industry influencers to improve labour conditions in garment factories.
They are now seeking a driven and experienced PPC & Paid Social Manager to lead the development, execution, and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns across their brands.
Paid Media Manager - The Role:
• Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and optimise PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads (with a strong focus on Google Shopping), Bing Ads, and paid social media channels to drive traffic, enhance brand visibility, and boost conversions.
• Google Shopping & Merchant Centre Management: Manage and optimise Google Shopping Ads (including Standard Shopping and Performance Max (PMax) Shopping Ads) and Google Merchant Centre, ensuring product feeds are set up correctly, listings are always up-to-date, and performance is continuously improved. Ensure that products are presented optimally in search results and social feeds, capitalising on the latest features to drive revenue.
• Paid Social Ads Management: Develop and manage paid social campaigns on
platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and others, to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate conversions.
• Collaboration with Merchandisers: Work closely with the merchandisers to ensure that stock levels align with the ads displayed in search results and paid channels.
• Keyword Research & Ad Creation: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and create engaging, targeted ad copy tailored to the needs of different audience segments.
• Tracking, Reporting & Analysis: Set up tracking mechanisms to measure campaign performance accurately. Produce detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on campaign performance, highlighting areas for improvement and adjusting strategies as needed to optimise results.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the broader marketing team and the merchandising team to align paid advertising efforts with overall marketing strategies and business objectives.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry developments, including emerging
technologies such as AI, and incorporate best practices to drive innovation and
improve campaign results continuously.
Paid Media Manager - The Candidate
• Proven experience as a PPC Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist with hands-on experience managing eCommerce or revenue-generating PPC campaigns, including extensive experience with Google Shopping Ads.Hands-on experience with paid social media advertising across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels.
• Ideally, experience working within the fashion industry, understanding its trends,
target audiences, and the dynamics of marketing fashion products online.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to help organise data,
create reports, and present performance insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and creative ad copy.
• Experience with budget management, bid strategy development, and cost-per conversion optimisation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Google Ads Certification and experience with Google Analytics are preferred.
• German speakers are preferable, especially for managing campaigns and
communications in the German market.
