A Must-Try Fashion Trend: Spring 2023

04 April 2023

There’s nothing like pushing some boundaries when jumping into another season. Spring is the season of bold shoulders, must-have metallics, and patterns. Carry on reading to learn more about what you should be having in your spring wardrobe.

The Maxi Skirt

The beloved maxi skirt is coming back into fashion. According to Valentino, Jil Sander, and Brandon Maxwell, the maxi skirt is taking over last spring’s micro mini.

From denim to A-line silky patterned skirts, as long as they are extra-long they are a must-have. A maxi skirt can be paired with a knee-high boot, or a block heel, and an oversized skirt or a baggy jumper. The question is will this trend follow into summer?

Metallic Materials

More and more metallic has been seen through Spring fashion shows, and has been mentioned by designers such as Gucci, Valentino, and Sacai. Even during the Grammy Awards celebrities are starting to wear metallic clothing, whether that be in a top, jumpsuit, skirt, or trousers, to a bag, headband, or other small metallic accessories.

Will you be jumping on this trend?

Off The Shoulder

Whether it’s a dress, top, bodysuit, or jumpsuit, there are lots of off-the-shoulder items making an appearance on the runway. This is a perfect item for the spring and summer weather, as it can be easily paired with an oversized blazer, which is another popular item, or an oversized denim jacket, something which never seems to go out of fashion.

This is a great item for your wardrobe as you can dress it up and down, ready for any occasion.
