Job Description

Our client is a highly successful privately owned business with two premium womenswear brands focused on contemporary design in natural fabrics. Due to continued business growth they are now seeking a junior Marketing Assistant to join their digital marketing team.

Digital Marketing Assistant – The Role:

  • Google Ads:

Assist in creating weekly search query reports and keyword research to improve ad performance.
Help monitor ad performance metrics and identify areas of improvement.
Support in the creating and optimisation of Google Ads campaigns.

  • Email Marketing:

Fill email briefs following an overarching weekly email marketing strategy.
Build and optimise landing pages to improve conversion rates.

  • Social Media:

Assist in managing social media accounts including posting content, writing copy, engaging with followers, and monitoring comments.
Help creating and publish engaging posts and stories on various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & TikTok)
Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for brand engagement.
Influencer marketing research to find the right influencers for each brand.

  • Content Creation:

Visit stores weekly to capture high-quality photos and videos for use in digital marketing campaigns and edit videos.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that showcases products and brand identity.

  • Digital Marketing Research:

Conduct research on competitors and industry trends in the digital marketing space.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and platforms to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive.

  • Reporting:

Weekly reporting on email, PPC, and social media performance metrics.
Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and make recommendations for improvement.

Digital Marketing Assistant – The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office and social media management tools.
  • Enthusiastic graduate with a hunger to learn and grow in the digital marketing field.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and eagerness to acquire new skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for fashion and staying updated with industry trends.
