Design is at the heart of everything they do, and they're always looking for new ways to push product forward.  They’re now looking for an experienced Girlswear Jersey & Nightwear Designer to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves childrenswear, has a great eye for trend and understands how to create fun, commercial product that works across a wide age range.

Whether it's an everyday jersey outfit, a standout graphic sweat, a cosy pyjama set or a trend-led collection for older girls, you'll be passionate about creating product that feels relevant, exciting and right for the customer.

Girlswear Jersey & Nightwear Designer - The Role: 

  • Researching fashion, colour, lifestyle and childrenswear trends to identify new product opportunities.
  • Creating trend-led Girlswear Jersey and Nightwear collections across multiple age groups.
  • Developing seasonal concepts, mood boards, colour palettes and customer presentations.
  • Designing commercial yet fashion-forward product with a strong understanding of the childrenswear market.
  • Creating graphics, print concepts and product stories that resonate with both children and parents.
  • Producing CADs, technical packs and detailed design specifications.
  • Working closely with sourcing and product development teams throughout the sampling process.
  • Exploring new fabrics, washes, trims, graphics and product ideas to keep collections fresh and relevant.
  • Presenting design concepts confidently to customers and internal teams.
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitoring competitor activity, retail trends and customer behaviour to identify new opportunities.

Girlswear Jersey & Nightwear Designer - The Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within Girlswear or Childrenswear Design, ideally specialising in Jersey and/or Nightwear.
  • Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
  • Experience creating graphics, prints and trend-led product concepts.
  • A good understanding of garment construction, fabrics and product development.
  • A strong eye for colour, trend and age-appropriate design.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to translate trends into successful product for different age groups.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting ideas.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, trend awareness and commercial understanding.
