Job Description
Our client is a leading supplier of socks and hosiery to the UK High street and have also recently launched their own brand. They are a lovely business who really value their employees.
They are currently recruiting a Sock Designer to join their team in Leicester. They are looking for an experienced designer with a commercial eye and awareness of current trends. The role will also include packaging design, so it is important that the candidate has an interest in this as well as product.
Sock Designer - The Role:
- Design a range of sock for private label and brand
- Working closely with customers and internal teams
- Completing spec sheets and design packs
- Attend development meetings and bring product ideas
- Be happy to design packaging as well as product
- Meet key dates and work within the critical path
Sock Designer - The Candidate:
- You will have experience in industry across socks or hosiery
- You will have a creative and commercial portfolio
- Ability to work to deadlines and take direction
- Excellent presentation skills and confidence when dealing with customers
- Excellent CAD skills, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
