Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Our client designs and sources product via their global network of offices and suppliers; negotiating market leading prices; securing the fastest lead times and managing production to ensure fantastic product is safely delivered on time. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join their busy team in Bangladesh. 

Senior Quality Assurance Manager - The Role:

• Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, you will have a pivotal role ensuring that product integrity is met all the way through to shipment. You will be contributing to achieving business expectations by providing guidance and the functional expertise essential for equipping the QA team to ensure that all garment production meets the required quality, quantity and delivery standards, whilst operating within the guidelines and in ways that create a sustainable and engaged workforce in a safe occupational environment. 
• Responsible for factory operations and driving supplier performance across pre-production and bulk manufacturing. 
• Provide technical assessments on supplier capability, validate capacity and make recommendations to leadership.  
• Evaluate and identify improvements across the supply base.
• Ensure company quality standards are effectively implemented and promote best practice sharing.
• Manage all aspects of the quality team, develop and coach all team members, performance evaluations, build and establish succession plans.
• Develop excellent working relationships with all suppliers.
• Connect with the UK technical teams on all quality related issues and develop strong relations based on trust.
• Ensure that all procedures comply with company requirements. 

Senior Quality Assurance Manager - The candidate:

• Must have several years of QA experience and of working within a UK high street retailer. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong people influencing and negotiation skills. 
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
• Functionally and technically sound team player with a proven track record in delivering results. 
• Possess a growth mind-set and the ability to challenge the status quo.
